NYC Construction Safety WeekNew York City is holding its fifth annual Construction Safety Week to promote safety and well being of construction workers throughout not only the city but also the state. The week of safety includes a series of free educational seminars and outreach events designed to increase the awareness of construction worker’s of how to safely practice construction operations. The seminars offered will include safety lectures on scaffolding, crane operations, excavations and demolitions. Over the course of the week there will be an ongoing course about the role of a Site Safety Coordinator for every construction site.
